That text file is the biggest load of old crap I have read in a long time and a sure fire way to f@@k up your internet connection. There is abosolutely NOTHING installed on the domestic end to limit your connection speed either in the case of cable connections or adsl connections, it is all done at the company end.

Plus also, carrying out those instructions constitute a breach of contract with your ISP which could result in, at best, you being disconnected or, at worst, legal action being taken against you (or your parents of course).

comcast, over here in the state, now has the capability to offer people 4 megs wooth of download speed per minute
it costs like 60 bucks but hey, you want it, you pay for it
