Welcome back Reaper. There have been a few changes in the game.

1. Most important change for new or restarting player is that safety of HW starts at lower level now. Even a HW of 3.1M is moderately safe, as largest assault attack is 1.5M without losing the ship.

2. Second change is no HW of any size is completely safe. The cost to attack is equal to defense strength for all sizes of HW, so even a 60M home world can be hit if you have enough resources to attack (maybe as a clan). This is much higher attack effectiveness for large HWs than we had previously in the game. Thus, diplomacy matters more.

3. Nearby range is lower, and probe range is higher. Thus, probes are more useful and should be PART of your planet finding skill set. New probe range with upgrades is 250, so it is easier to find new systems that are not nearby now.

u should be able to have 2 accounts but not use them in combined attacks......like tag each players ip with tehir accounts and if joe1 hits a planet joe2 cant hit it for over a week....adn so on...it would be fun..P:
