AMID has joked about the three buttons on his recent post on the game stories submissions.

However, I have come up with a list of three buttons I would love to have as upgrade features. I am pretty sure the SL council will not like them, so I would like to see if there is interest or opposition to these three buttons from others in the game before we discuss them as serious options (for August maybe) in SL Council.

BUTTON ONE: Scan all nearbies. Instead of selecting each planet to scan for nearbies, do it for all planets with just one button.

BUTTON TWO: Harvest all planets. Could allow you to leave some resources on planets (e.g. vital) and to exclude some planets from harvest all planets button.

BUTTON THREE: Change all production. Could allow you to change production of troops to iron or energy to reflect changing needs and demands. Low on iron? One button to shift all production to iron. Could offer option of fixed production amounts for some resources (e.g. 4 of vital and troops each) with excess amounts on all planets assigned to another button (e.g. make iron with excess).

Alternative if one of these three is unacceptable:

BUTTON ALTERNATIVE: Reassign all ships button. Changes planet assignment of all ships to planet selected. One button to make sure all ships are assigned, which primarily only matters when you are obliterating planets or giving planets to another player volentarily (ships are not lost now when planets are captured, but may still be lost if you choose to give away a planet with a ship assigned to it).

i like the first two
i really like the first option..it would be like the detect intrussion button
button 2...where would the harvested resources go? would you have to have a transport on the planets being harvested or would the resources go to the HW?

1.BUTTON ONE: Scan all nearbies. Instead of selecting each planet to scan for nearbies, do it for all planets with just one button.

Very good idea

2.BUTTON TWO: Harvest all planets. Could allow you to leave some resources on planets (e.g. vital) and to exclude some planets from harvest all planets button.

Very bad. If one player is capturing others planet with resources in it, then it is very low chance to get some treasure

Not bad

4.BUTTON ALTERNATIVE: Reassign all ships button.

Very good.

Nice, also if coords are recorded to Board Computer

Ok

Nice buttons.

Id like a hyperjump drop down menu for ships... refueling ships floating around in space... well.. it sticks.
