i believe i said california, not native americans, and the native americans aren't really holding on to their traditions (granted some are), however most have lost their "traditions" and gone after modern achievements like say, indian gaming (money). Also last i looked, there was very little forece behind the make welsh its own country (i could be wrong), but i have nothing against a regionly accepted flag. the states each have their own flag to go allong with the national flag. like calirfornia has a bear.
so go make what you think would be the welsh flag and show it proudly, afterall it is your own opinions

well, UK is quite interseting country which has these 4 parts, all parts have their own nations, but I doubt they will ever have separate governments - the merge was too long ago.
I've heard some history about this - like wars between England and Scotland, but I don't know history of Wales. When it was last time separate country (if it ever was, as there are many nations who had never had their own country).

And speaking about flags - not only countries has flags. Almost every town has his own flag, many organisations also has.
