Effective June 1st, hydrogen output (or consumption) per point of production will increase to 15 units per period, which will then be at the same level as Energy, Gold, and Uranium. The current production rate for hydrogen is inconsistent with pricing for this resource in the market and with production costs for other resources. Production rates for this resource will now be more consistent with most of the other resources in the game, at 15 units per period.

In addition, a new buildings will also be introduced in June. The "barracks" building produces troops, using an accelerated growth and training process which requires hydrogen (for power) and vital (raw materials) to create additional fighting forces in the battle for universal domination.

The net effect of this "barracks" building will be to increase troop production by +1 (which, of course, requires 1 vital per troop to be produced in parallel or available to be consumed) and a simultaneous decrease in hydrogen production (-1) for the first level of operation of this building. The cost of building will be the same as for all other mines or buildings that produce resources, and there will be a maximum of four levels for the building.

This building is similar to others in the game (e.g fusion generator), and is an addition which most players in March voted in favor of having as an option, so the change will be easy to made technically and is unlikely to be disruptive for game play. However, it might increase the amount of troops that could be made available for attacking (or for defense).

not neccisarly complicated...just more diverse and u have ore options of how to play ...:P as long as the upgrades are easy to under stand:P

Yes, lion, that is part of the reason for this change. It makes using a energy generator a tradeoff or choice. I suspect that it will still be worth doing, but other buildings such as iron mines are likely to be the first ones you will want to build.
