the old server didnt relli effect me, so i cant say relli

i totaly agree with ss id rather have server go down for afe HOURS AFTER roudn end than even go down for like 10 minutes BEFORE round end ..since the last day of round is always the most exciting

lol, i was on all night so i didnt have to log bk on lol

not sure why the lag, but server memory usage reached over 90% last night.

Had system admin person check it today, and he said, yes, this is bad.

Restarted Apache and memory usage is down to normal now. We have a memory leak somewhere, but not sure where or why.

I remember Iiridayn saying something about restarting Apache once a week, or something like that, to keep server running smoothly. Well, it has been 47 days since Apache was restarted, which appears to be too long to go without a restart of this important enabling applications software.

In theory, such a restart should be unnecessary, but there is something in the code which is not releasing memory when it should be doing so.
