I have sent probs out at +/- 1400 on each axis of my system and have not found any planets... I guess that could be a good thing.

Sooo, do I just pick a random set of coordanates and probe at +/- 400 now?

For you mate i advise you scan a cube, i can teach you the art of this but it seems from your post your still in the newb arena, in the newb arena you need to keep 2 of the coords the same then add +-1350 to the other coord, doing it this way you should send out 6 probes, then change 2 coords +-1350 and then you should send out a further 8 probes, lastly change all 3 coords +-1350 and you should send out 4 further probes

This will cover the area outside of your nearby planet range, using this you should find more than enough planets, i advise not leaving the newb arean until you have to, this way you can build up a homeworld in the safety of that arena, when you leave that arena, joining a clan is advisable, EiDG is mine, but i leave you to make your own choice, anyway then you give the resources to a clan member to mind, when you have enough resources you can then make yourself a homeworld

Ok just noticed your not in the newb arena but this princable above still applies, also check your nearbys if there is nothing there then you need to find planets another way, clans, the warp whatever just do it quickly or you be defeated

Actually I am out of the Newb arena...

I made a bad mistake in destroying my chained worlds and am now down to one system :( *stupid noob*

I think I see what you are getting at here, I maybe did not send out enough I will give it another shot.

I advise at the moment you ask for help, joining a clan will help alot, but do so quickly or you will be in trouble, for shear production value BZ planets are very effective, to find these planets send a probe to 0:0:0 or somewhere within the 100:100:100, this will get you enough planets that cannot be destoryed however, or traded, but they produce troops and resources, at a rapid rate

You also might want to consider closing the account and starting over.
Many of us are not using our first alias in this game.
I failed once also and started over.

well, as you are already 2 star player, you have no more probing upgrades, so sending probes 1400 from your planets will give you not much as your current probing range is only 160 (not 400 as it was last month)
