Yay, I've finally captured enough planets around where I started that one of them is showing no nearbys!!!!!

now once I get up to a maxed planet count I can start blowing up all the nearby planets :)

stupid noobie arena has too many planets :/

i think the whole game should be wiped brand new. I like the idea however of names with 100 posts or more being locked..

I'm for archiving statistics and a complete reset, protecting names if possible.

Before reset, there should be done as many important changes as possible. First of all about the buildings. It was a big failure.

i agree that buildings were a failure.. Do you think there should be no buildings at all or some to be removed? My personal opinion is that SL before any buildings was a lot more exciting.

definately was... with buildings and all the other changes.. it just makes everything more mmm whats the word... stagnant ? older players are more complacent and can build to ridiculous levels.. and new players are extremely dwarfed... even worse than before... theres no reason why i should be able to build up a hw or 2 and leave for 9 months and come bk to find the whole thing intact even though it has over 30 mil recs on it.. but with 100 turrets and over 100 mil def... no one want to undertake such a drastic battle...

even smaller hws of 30 + mil are safe with enough turrets and uranium for turrets... at least i think thats what they use lol... or is it hydrogen?...

I think the overall point of buildings was for people to transfer resources from ships to the planets. Problem was that it became highly profitable to keep a hw and extremely costly and impossible to attack. There were way too many hws and they kept building up all over the place. No one wanted to attack even the smallest of targets. The game was dieing anyway. I think this is an opportunity to drastically improve the game and then have a reset. The solution is making it more simpler, the way it was back in the old days, which made it so much more addictive. The days in which you never knew if you could get attacked or constantly planning your own attacks, thats when the game was fun.

really was... had to keep moving.. to capture 200 plannets in a rounf just to get away from nearbys wasnt an accomplish ment it was a necessity.. also the galaxy is a lotttt bigger with waaayy les players.. that accounts for a lot of the complacency as well... i remember i used to have new everytime i signed out for a few hrs and came bk... to loose a system or 2 a day was the norm... and if youre plannets were chained you would die that same day.. hiding your hw used to be the main priority... now i could care less who knows my coords.. it would take half sl just to attack me.. and its just not worth it.. not enought recs to split between everyone...

yeah, let's make it back like the old days

as long as we decide beforehand whether or not bringing back the old days also involves bringing back old favorites like the transport attack glitch, the attack planets in immunity glitch, and the insanely high xp caps ;)

lol im just saying.. make some changes for fum.. simplicity used to be the key.. and the old atck formulas were alright cuz even though the xp caps where outa this world so where the points when you took out one of those high xp fighters or trannys and i dunno i kinda liked the tension of rushing towards 15 nil def of facing immediate death via a stray assault.. lol...
