The recent bugs with Aliens spawning, news refreshing and news archiving.

With the news and planet capturing going on the fritz Will worked quite hard today to get it fixed. it seems that any scheduled tasks on the server were not being completed. I apologize for my delay in bringing this to Wills attention.
