space travel works because of innertia: one innitial burst sets ship on course and one other burst stops it at destination. therefore, it would make sense to be able to stop at anytinme provided that the entire ammount of fuel has been lost (half burned at startup and half at stopping point).

still, this sounds like a undesirable complication to the game code.

There used to be a bug where you could click back and change the course of an i-flight

This sounds like a topic for SL council discussion. I see no reason why this could not be done.

Perhaps it could be stopped but with a risk factor? like 5% chance the ship being lost? :D

That's just plain dumb Deemers. But loosing the calculated resources for the flight would be fine with me.

I did this, and it was really frustrating. My transport was in flight for a long time to get to a planet that I wanted to take with an assault. Frustrating mistake. We should like have a cancel button, like this guy who started this post said.

Okay, worth issue to have SL council vote on. To me, it seems like an easy yes to do, but maybe I have missed something here.

I don't send my ships by mistake so it seems unnessecary for me :) Especially if it'd be hard to program.

Sure, sometimes planets get obltierated before you arrive and it would be nice to stop your ship, but that's the game
