300 in each axe as i know....just i can't understand the idea that only one planet per system can detect intrusion :shrug:

It's not one planet.

The way it works is a scan of 250 Parsecs around your planet (anyone know if this is spherical or cube?) that detects incoming ships. However when detecting it notes the destination, the planet closest to the destination point is the one that detects the ship. This helps with defending against said ship.

So one planet system also always shows intrusion?..i thought only particular in each sytem, which if is gone, the rest don't show :)

I think each planet in system shows it, and I think range is 300, but I might be wrong.

Finally, whatever the range is, it is a cube, not a sphere. Nothing in SL is based on a sphere.

Not every planet shows it and it certainly isn't the planet that is closest. If I were to send a ship to system with planets called 1, 2 and 3 and sent it directly to 1, it would either be 2 or 3 that detect. What's with that?
