Well, sorry if you don't like it, but interest and buildings are here to stay. The level of interest paid out might change over time, as needed to appropriately balance risk versus reward for maintaining a HW planet, but interest will stay. Buildings are also here to stay, as is the warp.

We MIGHT bring back a new version of the game, the skylords classic, with no warp, no interest, no buildings, and a few other changes undone. However, not sure if there would be enough demand to play that game now, and it would be a new startup game for all players if we do bring it out. Skylords Classic of the pre-professor vintage, with fresh start for all.

Maybe. What is a bug to some people is part of a strategy to others. Also, probably hard to bring back the old code and still fix all the bugs we have fixed with code changes since then.

However, some of the worst of the bugs probably are fixable. Some, however, will be hard to fix, like any bug related to loss of ships due to assignment to planets. Those were tough bugs that were essentially only fixed by changing the game.

take it from me as an example... ive only been playin on this account since the 29th of april.... 11 days.... and this is my hw so far... i still have a bit of noob arena left too...

so as u can see a noob can get far in the ammount of time givin in the noob arena.... i was able to get my planet limit b4 the round ended so i was able to get 25 10x planets to build from.. and this helps alot when ur just starting off...

A tip you might want to consider as well, based on information you might not be aware of, but the battlezone is littered with many x20 planets now WHICH CAN NOT BE OBLITERATED.

If you can defend them, you can easily find x20 planets in the core of the galaxy (+/- 100), but then again, others can easily find you there as well (you might want to pay a visit to 0,0,0 while you are there, which shows that it is DEFINITELY possible to hold a HW with known coords in an easy to attack location).

I should state, however, that I have to continually rebuild turrets there at 0,0,0 since many people do like to take shots at them over time, and I have to keep defense high and resources low, or I would not hold this one for long. I estimate that I have built and rebuilt about 400 turrets there over time as they keep getting destroyed during the four months I have held this planet.

No, planets are only in one dimension at a time. Besides, we want people to join us in the real arena .

It is definitely in the real arena, and there is no battlezone in the newbie arena.

As for taking 0,0,0, that would definitely be possible, but you will need some tough fighter escorts, as it is an easy place for enemy fighters to appear fast. You also will need a solid team effort to do it.

Frankly, I never expected to hold it this long. I thought that LTC would take it out, but they pretty much ignored it and went after more profitable targets. This was definitely a sensible strategy, but I thought that they would be unwilling to allow me to keep it. I was wrong.
