Max. coo are from -32767 to 32767 in all dimensions. Planets are usually located from 100:100:100 to, say, 5000:5000:5000.

There is no regular distance. Otherwise, it would be all to easy to find new planets. Instead we have the "nearby planet" which tells us the closest planet to our planet.
