"If I have to start paying for features that might win the game for me I'm outa here...I can't afford to pay out on a game and pay bills at the same time..."

That's why those features must not be those which might win a game for you. Only nice and confortable ones. Nothing necessary. And the game would be even more free than it is now - means even if you are not able to spend money you can still fairly compete with the others.

Credits would remain in the market, in upgrading planet limit, in secret technologies, in game awards. Just simply people wouldn't buy them for money and could buy those new or old upgrades at once without any credits.

... I can understand that you don't want people to buy resources with cash, but the whole point of upgrades is for credits to be bought. They are those features that aren't essential that you were discussing :P. So, as long as they use the same source of cost as the market, people will be able to purchase resources with cash.

Well i have in mind that those essential upgrades (planet limits and secret technologies) should not be mixed with that package of not necessary upgrades bought by cash. People would get credits from round rewards and would spend them in the market, for secret technologies and planet limit. As it is now. And those features which could be bought for money woudn't need credits at all - you pay money and get them at once. As in all other games. It means credits would do everything as they do now, just money wouldn't buy credits at all. They would buy that packadge of nice features if it is possible to make :)

if u remove the things that RBA said and make it so we have to pay to just send pms etc then im waving bye bye to the game for good and i think a few others will aswell

pms are not a comfort thing for the game they are nessesary as this is an online game throughout the world ur not allways gonna be online at the same time as someone u need to make contact with


i personally think the credit system is perfectly fine the way it is just because a few players seem to have problems with players using the features that are provided.

as they say if it aint broke dont fix it

RBA: Upgrades are upgrades. There are no "essential" upgrades or "non-essential" upgrades -- they are all non-essential.

Probably "essential" is not the word that fits here:) I just say that there are features which gives you advantage in creating points and there are features that do not. Planet limit upgrade and secret technologies are of course not necessary features, but these strongly affect your abilities. There would be no need to change something with them - these would be bought for credits, credits would be earned from market operations and round awards. Those features, which do not affect your real potential should be separated from credit sysstem at all. As there is simply in other games - you pay money and get a package of tools. No credits involved here. And these would go only to game donators - they are not only unnecessary, but also without affect to players real potential. Therefore those who do not buy should not feel any unfairness in the competition.

As for credits lack in the game i offered a constant number of credits - the credits that are spent for upgrades at the beginning of the round should form a "prize fund" which would be shared by the round winners. Of course the total amount of credits in the game should be higher than this fund to keep market operations open.

RBA is sayign that we should delete the whole aspect of buying resources with cash as that severly inbalances the game with rich people ie watupdogg and poor people ie a 10 year old such as MBIK. RBA is also saying that instead of buying resources people can buy upgrades tha make the game more comfortable, upgrades that even if one person doesnt have they still have the same chance of winning as those who didnt have the upgrade. Buying resources off the market with greenbacks is not the same thing as getting an auto harvester upgrade, ONE is a OUTRIGHT INJUSTICE and the second is just a luxury.
