But not every 10 year old will have his own online game, and we are not sure that this game brings in money for MBIK, it could just be a hobby of his, or an experiment for later in his life to make another game.

RBA: Upgrades are upgrades. They are additional possibilities afforded to players who have by some means managed to acquire some quantity of credits. If you feel that players being allowed to hold 50 planets is wrong, please speak to it directly, and similarly with probing, etc. Even an auto-harvesting tool in some way can be seen as providing greater ability to make points - should it be introduced should it too be "essential"? ;P.

My point is, why draw such an arbitrary line, when we have a nice discrete one already? Upgrades are upgrades, not rights ;P. (Hmm, ignore that last bit, slanting into one of my favorite rants about what's wrong with society atm, with most privlages being called "rights", etc. ;P).

Edit: Anyway, these the only three ideas so far? Prof has a topic dedicated to this one, so we can move to that for debating the merits of this particular one, and continue being creative here (ofc, this topic is already off of the original topic ;P).

The point I think you are missing and correct me if i am wrong, some upgrades give players a direct advantage over others that is just tooo great ie buying troops with money. Upgrades such as auto harvesting, that does not give players a direct advantage it is just for lazy people who did not feel like harvesting from 50 planets that day or people who re in a rush. You cannot lump them in the same category and call all upgrades equal.

No, which is why they have differing costs ;P. And again, remember how it was to play before the market introduced easy credits -- we can either split credits from the market, or (logical xor) allow credits to be used on the market -- effectively creating a situation where troops can be bought for money. And again I say, are the three ideas so far the only ones on the table?

Why cant RBA's idea work? Just put a cap on the amount that credits can be bought with cash and increase the round winnings. More credits are infused into the system each month. Make the cap a reasonable number from 20 dollars to 50 dolllars depending on the price of T on the market. AS for RBAs ideas we can make those options available to be bought by credits also.

so if theres a cap people cant buy credits for other people then without limiting thier own credit amount

well I now see why you are such an advocate of leaving the system alone, we can clearly see that someone is buying credits for you. I dont know how you manged to only see that out of all this that has been posted. But I assure each and everyone of you last month I had tyhe chance to buy mass amounts of credits, the only thing that stopped me was my respect for the game and knowing that it would not benefit the game at all if masses of credits were bought. Next round not so lucky. No cap means I can buy however troops I want. what kind of game will that lead to that people will need to spend hundreds of dollars just to keep up with other players.
