hmm there have been insidents in the states where someone died in hockey or boxing, i dont recall the other guy getting jail time, it was 100 % accident

ok and for the server issue, im not sur what happened completley, but if there isnt a rule for it i agree with RBA, but anyone care to explain to me what happened?

They initiated a DoS attack against the server, by repeatedly clicking the "enter BZ" button. That can no longer be used to DoS the server, and they have all recieved a month long ban from using said button. Needless to say, I strongly disapprove of people DoSing the SkyLords server .

(DoS = Denial of Service, for the uninitated).

wow...but still....they should be punished more than tat..because they stopped players from playing SL...thats like saying God never created a commandment saying "Thou shalt not prevent humanity from living" but someone did it anyways...its just wrong

I never claimed intent to cause harm. However, there was an attack, and a perpetrator. If you kill someone, are you not in trouble regardless of intent? (though intent does make it worse).

DoS'ing the server is a pretty high charge, and I can't understand why anyone would click repeatedly on "enter battlezone" without any other intention than to distrupt the server. I might as well write a script to have every machine in the office ping skylords with huge packets then claim that I just wanted to make sure the server was up. [You'd better not ]

As for PB's reason, although I understand it, I don't agree with it. If someone blows up the gas station in my neiborhood does that make it right for me to blow up the one in his neiborhood so he's just as inconvenienced? No.

Unfortunatly for Iiri this likely means he has to spend all kinds of his time to secure the game from similar attacks. He is the real victim, as it affects him the most. I'd support any punishment he sees fit.
