I don't know how many of you have noticed it (probably all of you by now ), but SkyLords has been having difficulty sending out email recently. Several years ago I had tracked down and fixed the problem, for every domain except for hotmail, which stubbornly refused to accept my emails. I've just spent over 40 minutes on the phone with Comcast again; it would appear that the hotmail problem is now general across much of the internet.

I'm writing this to let you know that I am aware of the problem - and honestly not sure what I'm going to do about it right now. It used to be that anybody could send an email... Spammers have ruined it for all of us sadly . I'll be moving on from this shortly, but I'll keep an ear/eye out for affordable solutions . Getting email working again is a pretty high priority after getting the code in a workable state .

Just use an external email service provider, like mailgun, sendgrid or something similar. ISPs has never been reliable for handling massive number of outbound email messages.

Maybe just mention during registration hotmail does not currently work?

Also take a look at SPF and DKIM records, they are easy to setup and might help with email delivery.
